ACCO has always been a grassroots organization. Our mission is powered by countless people just like you who decided to step up and lend a hand. Whether you’re a highschooler running a gold-themed bake sale or a CEO hosting a pajama party in the board room, we’re happy to have you onboard!
How do I fundraise?
First, pick what type of event you’d like to run. ACCO has two signature events: PJammin® and GO GOLD®. A PJammin® event is an awareness-raising pajama party, designed to highlight the battle that cancer’s littlest patients face in nothing but their pajamas. A GO GOLD® event is more flexible, and could be anything from a marathon to a dance party, so long as it features the golden childhood cancer awareness ribbon!

What if I’ve never hosted an event before?
No problem! The staff at ACCO have run hundreds of events, and we’re here to help yours go smoothly. We’ll provide free swag and promotional materials tailored to your needs, as well as answer any questions you have.
How much does it cost to host an ACCO fundraiser?
Nothing! ACCO covers the cost of all the materials and shipping. We want to support your efforts.
What free materials will I receive?
You will receive a customized digital flyer, a social media guide for promotion, complimentary swag items (we’ve got stickers, bracelets, and more!)*, and any educational print materials you’d like to have, including stat sheets and a guide to early symptoms of childhood cancer. If you have pre-registered far in advance, a representative from ACCO will contact you a month before your event to confirm your event date and delivery address. If you registered at least 3 weeks before your event, you will receive your materials at least a week early, which we recommend!
*(Since ACCO provides swag at our own expense, please note that we cannot give out swag to awareness-only events that do not fundraise for ACCO. It’s part of our effort to spend carefully, out of respect for the people who work so hard to fundraise for us.)
What will the money be used for?
ACCO has two primary missions. Our first goal is to advocate at the state level to secure state-appropriated funds for childhood cancer research, which is sorely underfunded. The second goal is to provide direct free resources to children with cancer and their families. This way, we’re doing right by both the children of today and tomorrow. How can my corporation collaborate with ACCO?
There are many ways to be a corporate sponsor of ACCO! In addition to direct donations and hosting fundraisers, you can donate a portion of proceeds from select products, encourage customer donations, sponsor specific ACCO resources, match donations, and more!
