RAISING AWARENESS

In September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Amazon is helping raise awareness by delivering millions of uniquely designed boxes featuring the gold ribbon – the international symbol of childhood cancer – empowering customers to join in the fight one box at a time.

Why Not Kids

Why Not Kids

In collaboration with Amazon, ACCO is proud to announce Why Not Kids – an innovative state level approach to overcoming the disparity between adult and childhood cancer research. Using Kentucky as a successful model, Amazon + ACCO will strategically implement Why Not Kids across the country to advocate for policies and funding in recognition that children are not simply small adults. Childhood cancer is the #1 disease-related cause of death for children in the United States. However, in the last 2 decades more than 185 new drugs have been approved for treating adult cancers compared to 3 specifically for childhood cancer.

FOUNDING HOPE

Large scale change starts at the most local level. Founding Hope empowers individuals to turn compassion into action and engage their communities by providing financial support for families impacted by childhood cancer.

PJAMMIN®

Pajamas are the battle uniform for children fighting cancer who often spend years living in their pajamas during treatment and recovery. On September 12 & 13, Amazon employees around the world will wear their pajamas to work in honor of these brave children. Help raise awareness and participate in the PJammin® challenge!
